It is said, automobiles are products of "necessity" against airplanes are products of "longing".
The first loop was made before the World War 1. It must be a tough challenge for the primitive earlier airplane. There are no "necessity" for the loop while paying such a risk.
If so, WHY people are attracted to Acrobatic maneuvers?
The quote from Charles Lindbergh shows a part of the answer, and you will find the rest of the answer through the following pages.

  • What is the Aerobatics?

The Aerobatics is a sort of sky sports against the airshow maneuver.
The Aerobatics should be conducted in a regulated rule, must be within 1000m x 1000m x 900m virtual cube and there are five minutes time limit. There are judges to make scores for the flights. In addition to this, Music are added to make up the flights - there also an artistic aspect in this.

Last October of 1998, there was the Aerobatics competition at Twin-Rink-Motegi motor sports circuit in Japan. This is a category-1 competition , meaning this is the top class competition of the world.
Notable feature of the show is, this airshow is held over a MOTOR SPORTS CIRCUIT not over a local airport. This makes many advantages both for hosts and audience.
